Armonico Consort is looking for professional singers to audition for their new production:-

Monteverdi's Flying circus

Baritone, Bass or Tenor to play Massimiliano - son of Monteverdi, rebellious, strong physique, intensity, anger and passion with the ability to play naturalistic dialogue as well as an exceptional voice suitable for Mozart and before.

Counter Tenor to play Badoaro - dusty old librettist, ability to play comedy and naturalistic dialogue required.

Bass to play Procurator – Portly, comic

Counter tenor to play Francesco – Light well-meaning.

Strong Soprano to play Maddalena - Maidservant, flirtatious, upwardly mobile, sassy, mischievous with excellent comic timing and the ability to play naturalistic dialogue. Voice suitable for Mozart and before.

All above need to be good at dialogue

Performances (2010) Sept 24th25th Sept (Bridge Theatre Warwick) 14th Oct (Yeovil) 21st Oct (Shrewsbury)

Rehearsing in Warwick for three weeks commencing August 31st 2010. Rehearsals will be Mon - Fri 10:00am - 17:00pm, Sat 10:00am - 13:00pm. Attendance at all rehearsals essential

Fee £350per week rehearsal £200per perf inclusive
